What changes are we seeing in the Property Market?

By Leis Carson

The property market is continuing to change and again we have monitored these changes.

Finance can be challenging at present and this is causing a lack of attendance at some opens – but when priced correctly, properties are still performing well.
The average sale prices for Box Hill North, Blackburn North and Surrey Hills remain strong with a small decrease in other suburbs.
The major changes over this 3 month period have been in the number of sales. All suburbs have seen a downturn in sales with the biggest influence being the reluctance of the market to list. This has resulted in fewer properties on the market.
The important advice now is to find the “best agent “who can source buyers with positive advertising and negotiate the best results for you. Competition for the properties that are on the market is contributing to the steady prices.
We can provide the depth of knowledge of the area, experience with negotiation in this market and a high level of expertise and professionalism to look after your real estate needs in this current market.
